The value for money at the Old Wagon House was exceptional. The room was cozy and beautifully decorated, with attention to detail and lovely little features that made it feel like a home away from home. The location, surrounded by stunning scenery on a working farm, was perfect for a peaceful getaway. The staff, Sheila and Jimmy, were friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Jimmy even took us on a personal tour of the farm on his Kubota, which was a special touch.
The only minor improvement that could be made would be to have more breakfast items available.

The location of the hotel is in a beautiful rural area, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. the views from the front window are stunning and the lack of light pollution allows for a magical star-gazing experience at night. the cottage itself is comfortable and well-equipped, with a cozy wood burner and a fully equipped kitchen. the hosts are friendly and welcoming, offering a personal touch to the stay.
Some guests mentioned that the lack of internet and phone signal was a slight inconvenience, but it can be seen as a refreshing break from technology.

The Old Wagon House was a delightful place to stay. From the moment I arrived, I felt at home in this cozy cottage. The attention to detail and lovely little features made it a truly special experience. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the wet room was perfect for my needs. I especially enjoyed the wood burner, which added a touch of warmth and coziness to the already comfortable atmosphere. The location on a working farm was lovely, and I even had the pleasure of witnessing red deer outside my window. The hosts, Sheila and Jimmy, were friendly and welcoming, making me feel like part of the family. Although there was no internet, it was actually refreshing to disconnect from the online world and enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. Plus, the lack of signal reminded me that I was in Cornwall, where such things are expected. I had a fantastic time at the Old Wagon House and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and charming getaway.

I recently stayed at a lovely rural location on a farm with red deer visible outside the front window. The Old Wagon House Villa was very cosy and wonderfully decorated for Christmas. The attention to detail and lovely little features were impressive. The four poster bed was a hit with my mother and the sofa bed in the lounge was comfortable. The wood burner added a nice touch, but with full central heating, it was plenty warm enough. The wet room was perfect for my mother to use safely, and the fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher, made cooking a small Christmas dinner a breeze. Sheila and Jimmy, the hosts, were perfect and even took us on a tour of the farm. Highly recommended!
Can't think of anything. 😊
